Gingerbread Cottage Playgroup
- Gingerbread Cottage Playgroup is a private part of Launde Primary School and is situated in a double mobile building within school grounds. We also have a ramp access as well as stairs that welcome all children into the setting. (Please note that attending the playgroup does not guarantee your child a place at Launde School)
- Gingerbread Cottage Playgroup is based over two rooms on one level, which offers a wide range of toys, games and activities. Gingerbread Cottage Playgroup boasts a large enclosed garden which is fitted with artificial grass and paved areas.
- As Playgroup sessions are for 3 hours, a Snack Bar is operated within one of the rooms- this enables children to decide what they would like to eat as a snack. A variety of snacks are offered from Pasta, Paratha, Toast and a selection of Fresh Fruit. Milk and water is also on offer.
- Gingerbread Cottage Playgroup offers additional clubs to children aged 3 to 8 years; they are split over 2 days catering for Gingerbread Cottage children and Launde Nursery Children. French clubs is also available for those interested and is run by a qualified teacher every Monday. Both of these clubs are provided for an additional fee, please call for additional information.
- Gingerbread Cottage Playgroup, is open 38 weeks a year, and caters for children term time only. Gingerbread Cottage offers 2 sessions 9am to 12pm or 1pm to 3:30/4pm. Gingerbread Cottage now offers a 9am-3pm session for those children entitled to the 30 Hours FEEE funding (A packed Lunch must be provided) Gingerbread Cottage also offers a Lunch Club which is run from 12pm- 12:45pm for an additional fee.
